How to play

Blockwars is a multiplayer Tetris variant. Clear rows, collect Specials, and stay in the game longer than your opponents.

Different blocks fall from above. Complete horizontal rows to clear them. Up to five players can compete, with or without rankings.

For touch controls, drag across your Arena to move, tap either side to rotate, and hold or drag down to soft drop. A quick downward flick hard-drops.

Keep the Arena from filling to the top. Clear two or three rows at once to earn a Special, or four rows to earn two. Specials land on blocks in your Arena, then enter your queue when you clear their row. Press a Player number to send one; Player 3 is you.

The 12 Specials

  • Add row - Add one line at the bottom with an hole
  • Remove row - Removes the row at the bottom
  • Earthquake - Scramble all lines horizontal
  • Clear specials - Converts all special items to regular blocks
  • Shotgun - Creates random holes in the field
  • Gravity - Pushes blocks downwards, filling all gaps and clearing all whole rows afterwards
  • Clear arena - Removes all blocks from the field
  • Switch arena - Swap your field with the opponents, remove the 4 top rows if they exist
  • Monster - Builds a monster with blocks
  • Mini bomb - Change all specials to deadly mines
  • Mine -You lose the game if you collect this
  • Milkshake - Scramble all lines vertical

Settings

Open the settings menu in the upper-left corner of the game to:

  • Read the game rules
  • Change the control keys
  • Switch themes
  • Toggle sound, ghost pieces, fullscreen and more

Hur man spelar

Blockwars är en Tetris-variant för flera spelare. Rensa rader, samla specialare och håll dig kvar längre än motståndarna.

Olika block faller uppifrån. Fyll horisontella rader för att rensa dem. Upp till fem spelare kan tävla, med eller utan ranking.

På pekskärm drar du över spelplanen för att flytta, trycker på vänster eller höger sida för att rotera och håller eller drar nedåt för mjuk dropp. En snabb nedåtsvepning snabbdroppar.

Håll spelplanen från att fyllas. Rensa två eller tre rader samtidigt för att få en specialare, eller fyra rader för två. Specialare landar på block i din spelplan och hamnar i kön när du rensar deras rad. Tryck på en spelares nummer för att skicka en; spelare 3 är du.

De 12 specialarna

  • Add row - Lägg till en rad i botten med ett hål
  • Remove row - Tar bort raden längst ner på spelplanen
  • Earthquake - Skakar omkring blocken rad för rad över hela spelplanen
  • Specials away - Tar bort alla specialare från spelplanen

  • Gravity - Tar bort alla hål och jämnar till alla rader (Inga specialare förtjänas)
  • Clear arena - Tar bort alla block från spelplanen
  • Switch arena - Byter spelplan mellan dig och utvald spelare
  • Monster - Fyller spelplanen med ett förutbestämt mönster
  • Mini bomb - Ändra specialare till dödliga minor
  • Mine - Tar du denna förlorar du spelet
  • Milkshake - Skakar hela spelplanen vertikalt. Kan påverka höjden av blocken på spelplanen

Inställningar

Öppna inställningsmenyn i spelets övre vänstra hörn för att:

  • Läsa spelregler
  • Byta tangenternas kontrollinställningar
  • Byta teman
  • Slå av och på ljud, spökbitar och helskärm
